Tour Summary

The career of a dolphin trainer is enjoyable, stimulating, and personally gratifying. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be a professional animal trainer, our Dolphin Trainer for a Day tour is the perfect activity for you. Join our trainers at our expansive Marine Mammal Compound along the shores of Banderas Bay in the vacation destination of Puerto Vallarta. You will have the unique opportunity to enjoy the duties of a marine biologist for the entire day. We keep our groups of amateur trainers limited to six participants in order to maintain plenty of personal interaction between the pro trainers and their interns. This activity is also capped in order to allow participants an optimal amount of interaction with the Bottlenose Dolphins.

You will have the opportunity to assist in the feeding and care of these intelligent and charming creatures. You will also be allowed to assist the trainers while the dolphins perform on other tours like dolphin swims and dolphin encounters. This fun-filled and educational day with the dolphins will allow you to experience the duties of an animal trainer for an entire day.

You will learn animal training techniques, including positive reinforcement, as well as hand and verbal signals. You will have a chance to try out these techniques with the dolphins in their habitat. You can even instruct the dolphins to perform acrobatic tricks. You can try out some of these training techniques on your dog when you return home.

After performing the duties of a trainer, you will be able to spend some one on one interaction time with a dolphin in the pool for a fantastic close to a remarkable day.

Q: May I bring a camera or video camera to take pictures?

I have been to the Bahamas many times, but Dolphin Trainer For A Day is one of my favorite trips! It includes everything that everyone should do here. As a Bahamas veteran, I can say only the best about this experience!

Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
